When bringing a QBO system online, following an OS upgrade, QBO framework update, or machine reboot, ensure you check the following: - Data Tier:
- the database is online (specifically not in recovery mode)
- SQL Server Agent is running
- Web and App Tiers:
- IIS is started
- You can successfully browse to a login page
- qbo Event Handler Service is started
- Event Viewer Application Log will contain 2 entries indicating a successful start
- The Event Dashboard Report indicates the service is running
- Configuration files have been tested
- Design > Configuration > Event Configuration, click Test
- Design > Configuration > Object Factory Configuration, click Test
- Design > Configuration > Xslt Extensions, click Test
- Design > Configuration > Event Configuration, click Test
- Design > Configuration > Attachment File Objects, click Test
- Design > Configuration > Attachment Templates, click Test
